Job Description:

Role: to support Australia / New Zealand and Regional Risk Management. Role will be to provide oversight of the risk management function of the business and to ensure that the risks to the business are identified analysed and mitigated with a focus to support on the enterprise risk management framework including operational risks, cyber related risks and financial risks.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Risk Identification and Assessment: Oversight on all risk types, review the implications, challenge the business and escalate to Regional Risk Management.
  • Provide support to Regional Risk Management on all risks assessments including financial risks, operational risks and cyber risk.
  • Risk Assessment and Mitigation: In conjunction with the Regional Risk Manager maintain and improve risk measurement processes and design and implement risk mitigation systems/strategies such as Key Risk Indicators etc.
  • Operational Risk and Internal controls processes: Review and track operational risks and report findings on regular basis. Support on Level 2 Control Assessments, Incident reporting, Risk Mapping exercise and monitoring of the Business Continuity Plan, including follow-up and update on any action plans set for entities.
  • Risk Culture: Foster a culture of risk awareness and assist in risk training and workshops
  • Governance: Maintain, and update the risk management and governance frameworks and ensure company policies are kept up to date, relevant and aligned with latest Regulatory and Group requirements.
  • Provide support on Risk Register, Risk Appetite Statements, local risk policies reviews.
  • Regulations: Track and review regulatory updates and regulatory lodgements.
  • Assist with the yearly reviews of internal policies and procedures
  • Assist with Business Continuity testing and arrangements
  • Obtain an understanding of the Australian and New Zealand risk profiles and assist in mapping of risks
  • Assist in the evolution of the risk function in Australia and New Zealand
  • Participation in Risk Management projects across all business lines
  • Any other responsibilities to be assigned from time to time by the Region

 

Skill Set :

  • Good English language skills
  • Knowledge of the risk management function and regulatory requirements a plus but not essential.
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems arising from risk management matters
  • Good communication & interpersonal skills
  • Good command of written and spoken English
  • High commitment, performance under stress, ability to work in a team
  • Well organized, able to handle multi-tasks and meet tight deadlines
