Responsibilities: 

l Design, plan, and implement human resources programs, including compensation, benefits, employee relations, training, and health and safety programs.

l Oversee all necessary paperwork in relation to Factory Act CLRA, employee communications, benefits maintenance, leave tracking, management reports, and workers' compensation claims to ensure compliance and efficiency.

l Conduct initial reporting, accident investigations, communication of work restrictions, claim adjuster correspondence, and analysis for settlements.

l Facilitate disciplinary processes, ensuring all paperwork is complete and in compliance with company requirements.

l Oversee performance management processes and assist in salary planning to support employee development and retention.

l Develop and revise labor policies, handle grievance procedures, and manage dispute resolutions involving unions, management, employees, or government agencies.

l Manage and oversee the accurate and timely processing of attendance, overtime, and payroll for all plant employees, including wage calculations, deductions, and direct deposits.

l Ensure compliance with state and local payroll tax regulations, including the timely filing of payroll taxes

l Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to reconcile attendance, overtime, and payroll and resolve any discrepancies or issues.

l Serve as the primary point of contact for employee payroll inquiries and provide support for payroll-related matters.

l Conduct regular audits of payroll records to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

l Stay updated on changes in labor laws and regulations and ensure that the plant's processes remain compliant.

l Prepare and submit payroll, statutory, and cost reports as required by management and regulatory agencies.

l Assist in the development and implementation of HR compliance programs and initiatives to ensure adherence to labor laws, regulations, and company policies.

l Work with HR and legal teams to investigate and address any compliance issues or concerns that arise within the plant
