Hiring for Head, Paint Shop

Job Description:

Qualification: Diploma in Engg. OR Diploma in Paint Technology
Experience: At least 5 years in Paint Shop with experience in managing Pre-treatment and paint application.

Key Responsibilities:
Paint Process Management:
Develop and implement efficient paint processes for components or vehicles, ensuring high-quality finishes, and monitor and optimize the paint application methods.

Team Leadership:
Supervise and lead a team of paint shop personnel, including paint technicians, operators, and support staff.

Provide training and guidance to ensure the team follows safety protocols and meets production targets.

Quality Control:
Implement quality control measures to ensure the painted surfaces meet the required standards for appearance, coating, and durability.

Develop and maintain inspection procedures to identify and address defects in the paint finish.

Equipment Management:
Oversee the maintenance and calibration of paint application equipment, such as pre-treatment equipment, spray booths, guns, booths, conveyor, and drying systems.

Coordinate with maintenance teams to address any equipment malfunctions promptly.

Environmental Compliance:
Ensure compliance with environmental regulations related to paint application and waste disposal.

Production Planning and Scheduling:
Collaborate with production planning teams to schedule paint shop activities in alignment with overall manufacturing schedules.

Cost Management:
Monitor and control costs associated with paint shop operations, including material usage, energy consumption, and maintenance expenses.

Identify opportunities for minimizing wastage, cost reduction and process optimization.
