TALLY OPERATOR - FRESHER - RAIPUR

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

1. Data Entry and Transaction Processing:

   • Enter financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, payments, and journal entries, into Tally software.
   • Ensure accuracy and completeness of data entry and adherence to accounting principles and company policies.
   • Review and verify source documents to ensure proper documentation and authorization for all transactions.

2. Accounts Receivable and Payable Management:

   • Maintain accounts receivable and accounts payable ledgers in Tally, including recording invoices, bills, and payments.
   • Reconcile accounts receivable and accounts payable balances with supporting documentation and statements.
   • Monitor overdue invoices, follow up with customers/vendors, and take appropriate actions to resolve outstanding balances.

3. Bank Reconciliation:

   • Reconcile bank statements with Tally records to ensure accuracy of cash balances and transactions.
   • Identify and investigate discrepancies or errors in bank reconciliations and take corrective actions as necessary.

4. Financial Reporting:

   • Generate various financial reports using Tally software, such as balance sheets, profit and loss statements, cash flow statements, and aging reports.
   • Prepare and distribute financial reports to management and other stakeholders on a regular basis.
   • Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making and financial planning processes.

5. Tax Compliance:

   • Assist in tax compliance activities, including calculation and filing of GST returns, TDS deductions, and other statutory requirements.
   • Maintain records and documentation required for tax audits and assessments.

6. Inventory Management:

   • Record and track inventory transactions, including purchases, sales, and stock adjustments, in Tally software.
   • Monitor inventory levels, reconcile physical stock with Tally records, and generate inventory reports as needed.
