Job Description:

Position:           GM/DGM- Quality

Location:           Mundra- Kutch

Experience:       15- 20  Years

Industries:         Chemical MNC

Responsibilities:  

• To define and implement all quality processes
• To plan and develop standardize test methods & standard operating procedure (SOP) for the quality assurance of all the production product, raw material and processes at the plant.
• To review, update & implement total quality assurance system and process
• Develop an internal audit plan schedule and ensures regular audit of processes/products as per the compliance requirements and quality standards.
• To supervise proper preventive/scheduled maintenance & calibration of all the equipments in the QC laboratories as well as procuring their spare parts.
• To oversee the lab chemist and lab assistant in their work.
• To plan and identifies routine control improvement areas and ensures corrective action.
• Ensures 100% chemical compliance to standards through scheduled checks and corrective actions.
• Undertakes corrective action on quality of raw material and packaging with material management department.
• Work towards improvement of the production products and package quality.
• Responsible for skills development and appraisals of subordinates.
• Trains the quality team to comply with SOP.
• Knowledge of Total quality management, ISO 9001, 14001 & OHSAS 18001 standards

 Required Skills:

• Thorough knowledge of chemistry,  analytical & lab equipment
• Analytical skills, Tenacity to adhere to process requirements, Ability to perform under Pressure, People management, Communication skill (written & verbal), Creativity
• Decision making, Multitasking, team building skills, prioritizing skills

Required Qualification: - M.SC -Organic/Analytical Chemistry

Salary: - Upto 24.00 LPA
