Position:          Manager Sourcing (Engineering)

Responsibilities:

• The Sourcing Engineer will be the primary contact for all sourcing and pricing for Electronics, Electrical and other materials related to electronic assembly  system (for e.g. Ceramics, Mechanical, etc).    
• The Sourcing Engineer will function as the identifier of savings opportunities by reviewing Bill of Materials (BOMs) and using cost saving methods viz. 
• Monitor and learn electronics and electrical cost driver commodities price trends as part of commodities price forecast and to support negotiations.
• Established a pre-negotiation meeting with Electronics/Electrical to understand the focus and issues.
• Supports Mechatronics Commodity by conducting Offline Negotiation activities, Alternate Sourcing of component parts, risk assessment of component parts,  and commercial auditing of suppliers.  
• Provides comprehensive analytics support to the superior in support for complex projects or activities.
• Analysis the data and provides recommendation based on findings (g. price variance, savings opportunities through the Bill of Materials (BOMs) thru  comparative analysis, for e.g. comparing actuals vs. historical information).
• Analysis gathered information, provides gap analysis, data drivers, and risk assessment that will affect business strategies such as contract, compliance issues and other related issues not limited to such as mentioned above.  
• Recommends alternative solutions in improving Sourcing KPI’s as stated (ex: cost improvement initiatives, PPV etc.)

Required Skills

• Microsoft office (Excel, Word and Power Point)
• Analytical with modern IT ERP / MRP / WMS / CRM systems knowledge (SAP as preferable requirement);Statistics.
• Must be excellent in written and spoken English; net savvy and adept at computer skills.

Salary :- Upto 18:00 LPA
