Job Description:

Location: Lucknow, Gomti Nagar, Uttar Pradesh, India

We are seeking a talented and experienced Sound Engineer to join our recording studio located in Lucknow, Gomti Nagar, Uttar Pradesh. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for audio engineering, with expertise in studio recording, mixing, and mastering. As a Sound Engineer, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality audio recordings and ensuring an exceptional experience for our clients.

Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain studio recording equipment, including mixing consoles, microphones, outboard gear, and digital audio workstations

Set up microphones and sound reinforcement systems to capture high-quality audio recordings for various projects, including music albums, voiceovers, podcasts, and commercials.

Collaborate closely with artists, producers, and clients to understand their creative vision and technical requirements for each recording session.

Record, edit, and mix audio tracks using industry-standard software such as Pro Tools, Logic Pro, or Ableton Live, ensuring optimal sound quality and clarity.

Apply audio effects, equalization, and dynamics processing to enhance and balance the mix, taking into account the artistic direction and genre-specific conventions.

Troubleshoot technical issues during recording sessions, including microphone placement, signal routing, and software configuration, to ensure smooth workflow and uninterrupted sessions.

Maintain a clean and organized studio environment, including equipment storage, cable management, and acoustic treatment, to ensure optimal recording conditions and client comfort.

Provide excellent customer service and support to clients throughout the recording process, addressing their feedback and requests promptly and professionally.

Collaborate with studio management and other team members to schedule recording sessions, allocate resources, and prioritize projects based on client needs and studio availability.

Adhere to all safety regulations and studio policies, promoting a safe and productive working environment for all staff and clients.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Audio Engineering, Music Production, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

Proven experience as a Sound Engineer in a professional recording studio environment, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in studio recording, mixing, and mastering.

Proficiency in operating recording studio equipment, including analog and digital consoles, microphones, preamps, and audio interfaces.

Advanced knowledge of digital audio workstations (DAWs) such as Pro Tools, Logic Pro, or Ableton Live, and familiarity with audio plugins and virtual instruments.

Strong understanding of sound theory, acoustics, and signal processing principles, with the ability to apply them creatively to achieve desired sonic results.

Excellent listening skills and attention to detail, with the ability to discern subtle nuances in sound and make critical judgments during mixing and mastering.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, artists, producers, and other team members.
