Job Description:

Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership in the day-to-day operations of the steel manufacturing plant, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

2. Production Oversight: Oversee the entire production process, from raw material intake to finished product, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met.

3. Resource Management: Manage resources effectively, including manpower, equipment, and materials, to optimize production output and minimize downtime.

4. Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure the production of high-quality steel products that meet industry standards and customer specifications.

5. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and efficiency improvement, implementing best practices in steel manufacturing.

6. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry regulations, environmental standards, and occupational health and safety requirements.

7. Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments such as engineering, maintenance, and logistics to streamline operations and enhance overall business performance.

8. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of managers and supervisors, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and employee development.

9. Budget Management: Develop and manage the operational budget, controlling costs while maintaining operational excellence.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
• Proven experience in a senior management role within the steel manufacturing industry.
• In-depth knowledge of steel production processes and technologies.
• Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a results-driven mindset.
• Familiarity with industry regulations and quality standards.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
