Inspector QC Mechanical/Piping

Job Description:

CBT Test Passed with SAP Preferred
Degree / Diploma minimum 5 years of Inspection experience.
1) Should be well familiar with international codes, Aramco standards, inspection and testing requirement for Mechanical rotating
equipment / Static equipment and Non-Metallic Pipeline RTR and piping activities.
2) Carry out the inspections as per approved ITP liaise with the client and sub-contractor for all related Quality and inspections.   
3) Review company specifications, drawings, method statements, QC procedures and inspection test plans. Maintain daily reports
and log of daily activities.
4) Review the following procedures: Installation of mechanical equipment, Piping, Pipeline, Hydro test, pneumatic test, Leak test,
Gasket Installation, High bolt tightening etc.   
5) Ensure monitoring/ surveillance activities are being conducted on an ongoing basis.
6) Conduct witness and hold points identified in the quality Inspections, Liaise and checking required inspection and testing of
vendor’s package.
7)  TO ensure the field modification of red line mark-ups verification and preparation.  
8) Surveillance of installation of equipment’s rotating, static and piping.
9) Hands on experience of physical and dimensional verification of piping fabrication, alignment,
10) Hands on experience of rotating equipment’s installation and base and coupling alignment.
11) Witness pressure testing (hydrostatic testing, pneumatic testing, leak testing etc) of piping spools, Tanks, Pipeline, valves and
etc. at workshop and piping system at site.
12) Assist in preparation of various test packages.     
13) Ensure sub-contractors are generating and providing the required QC documentation on a timely basis.
14) Ensure the materials / equipment’s used are approved by the company and satisfy the requirements and project specifications.
15) Monitor, review and approve Quality Control Documentation progressively compiled during the project to ensure that all
activities are recorded and reported as required.
16) Support the Project Management Team and QC Manager / Supervisor
17) Perform other similar or related duties as and when assigned by the direct supervisor/ manager.
