Urgent Job Opening For Design Manager

Job Description:

Lead and support job planning and execution of all activities associated with the design department,
- Manage the workload of a team of 5-10 execution-based designers,
- Reviews 2D/3D drawings and layouts to ensure clarity, completeness, form, fit, function, and
conformity to standards, procedures, and customer´s specifications, prior to production,
- Resolve project technical issues for the customer and project manager,
- Delegating work where necessary and reviewing that work, when it has been completed,
- Ensuring that the design work is of sufficient quality and that all directives are being followed,
- Mentoring and guiding team members and motivating them to achieve their goals and yours
- Participate in a team of engineers and designers, coordinate with sourcing and the project team on
technical matters to meet project specifications, cost control, and schedule objectives,
- Have proven experience in delivering design services within a Work Winning environment and
successfully implementing design strategies relevant to project experience,
- Managing the development and implementation of design proposals ensuring they meet customer
requirements including budget constraints, presenting proposals for approval to the customer,
- Ensuring that the engineering designs are compliant with the specifications and/or that the
appropriate processes are followed to obtain the Owner’s approval if value-added elements of the
design might be considered non-compliant,
- Have leadership skills required to deliver design services in a timely manner with a customer and
business sector-specific focus
