Job Description:
- To perform all engineering functions including, but not limited to proposals, contracts, reporting and invoicing in a professional and timely manner.
- To examine contract agreements and specifications on contract award for possible inconsistencies, misinterpretations, commercial weaknesses/threats, etc.
- To liaise with the procurement department to ensure that the best discounts and payment terms are obtained to prepare contract documentation.
- To monitor material wastage and ensure unused materials are returned to stock.
- Execute & supervise the maintenance of types of equipment. The span of control/direct report of 15 people mechanical & electrical.
- Follow the planned preventive maintenance schedule.
- Plan the maintenance of the machine on the basis of its running hours.
- Do preventive maintenance as defined by the manufacturer.
- Applied predictive maintenance for highly critical equipment to avoid breakdown & smooth operation.
- Attend breakdown maintenance & to maintain the logbook of work done.
- Adhere to International safety management system norms.
- Project & modification works.
