Job Description for Lab Analyst (Wet Chemistry) for Yamunanagar Engineering Cluster(sister concern company of Chanderpur Group)
Job duties:
Prepare and analyze samples with accuracy and precision in accordance National/International Standards. Work independently and as a part of team to meet daily targets and ensure hold times and turnaround times are met. Understand and apply basic analytical chemistry principles. Always follow safe laboratory practices and maintain a safe working environment.
Performs testing (Digestion and Titration) of various materials (metals) using wet chemistry techniques/methods (Weighing Method, Titration Method and Absorption Method).
- Performs routine operation, maintenance, calibration of laboratory Instruments/Equipments.
- Assists with investigation, and preparation of responses to customer inquiries.
- Inputs and maintains technical information as needed to support the laboratory functions/operations.
- Maintains Laboratory Notebook where applicable.
- Adheres to internal standards, policies and procedures.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Should have a understanding/awareness related to the ISO/IEC 17025:2017.
Eligibility/Qualifications Required
- Associated Degree/diploma in the relevant field or similar scientific discipline
- 2-3 years of relevant experience (Material Testing using Wet Chemistry)
