Technical Safety – Sr/Lead Engineer_Malaysia
Job Description:
Purpose of Role: Technical Safety Engineer for multiple Projects covering all phases of execution starting from Safety Studies scoping in Bid Engineering, RFQ ,Post Contract basic Engineering, Detailed Engineering, Follow on Engineering / FSA Close out / FSA related Final Project Documentation. Some critical safety Studies are required to be conducted in house , candidate is required to have doer skill sets of the same . Technical Safety Engineer shall be the focal point of all FSA & Formal Design reviews of the Project.
Qualification and Experience: BE Degree in Chemical/Mechanical and preferably advanced degree in Safety Engineering /Loss Prevention etc. will be considered along with adequate combination of education and experience. Total minimum 10 years (preferably 12 years) of design experience in the Oil and Gas sector. Ideally design experience will be Offshore Oil & Gas FPSO experience which should include a mix of Conceptual, FEED, and Detailed Design technical Safety Studies tasks for at least 7 years. Minimum of experience in one FPSO Projects. Complete life cycle Project experience from Engineering Technical Safety side required for FPSO Project. Requirement is on hands on expert skill sets.
