Maintenance : Asst Manager

Job Description:

Position: Maintenance Asst Manager  

Reporting to:  Senior Manager 

Educational Qualifications: Bachelor of Engineering / Bachelor of Technology 

Desired Experience: Up to 7 to 8  years experience in a Manufacturing company preferably in an Automobile industry. 

CTC: 5 to 7 Lakhs PA 

Skills Set required/Job Profile:

• Formulate end to end maintenance planning framework and prepare preventive maintenance schedule in alignment with the production plan
• Oversee preparation of preventive maintenance checklists for machines and ensure adherence to the same
• Oversee breakdown and repairs to ensure minimum plant downtime and ensure appropriate logs are maintained for the same
• Undertake detailed analysis of all breakdowns and take steps to avoid future breakdowns
• Oversee all maintenance processes pertaining to supply of power to ensure proper maintenance of the electrical system and availability of backup power for critical machinery in case of power failure 
• Monitor spares inventory regularly and initiate timely procurement of spares required for maintenance activities; ensure minimum inventory level of the same
• Oversee preparation of equipment histories, calibration schedules and update of the  same on a regular basis
• Ensure facility maintenance by formulating and driving adherence to a routine maintenance plan
• Ensure proper timely maintenance of the plant in line with the agreed upon timelines and SLAs
• Oversee maintenance of  records of all instances including details of problem diagnosis and resolution, spare inventory status, purchase requests and procurement data 
• Responsible for  evaluating machine performance on economic and technical parameters to ascertain whether it should be replaced, and present findings to Plant Head
• Provide inputs for evaluation of equipment suppliers etc.
• Lead implementation and monitor progress of activities related to ISO, TS certification in the maintenance division
