Job Description:
- To obtain all required import permits and export licenses for all processes.
- Coordinate with marketing and sourcing department to establish an efficient export classification and prepare tariff schedule.
- Perform all record-keeping processes and maintain records of all entries.
- Interface with freight forwarders and administer all freight logistics and provide an optimal level of customer services and resolve all shipment issues.
- Evaluate all items for import and ensure accuracy in all values and collaborate with CHA to provide clearance of all imports/exports and maintain required documents.
- Collaborate with various departments and obtain all certification documents and ensure compliance to all import and export policies and perform regular audits on all broker activities.
- Co-ordinate with Imports suppliers - for prices, negotiation, placing purchase orders, delivery follow-ups, pickups, import documentation, shipments, clearance etc.
- Handle warranty claims and get replacements for import materials.
- Follow-ups with Shipping companies/freight forwarders for materials deliveries
- Regular MIS of Imports and exports activities.
- Co-ordinate with SCM team for material readiness for export and prepare desired documentation for export
- SAP Knowledge, working in SAP is a must.
- Checking Bill of Lading, Shipping bill etc. Processing approvals and payment of freight forwarders, CHA's and vendors
- Keep track of BG bonds and ensure prompt release from customs/ government on the due date
Desired Profile / Criteria / Skills :
- Graduation in any field, with EX-IM certification.
- 7-8 years of work experience in EXIM.
- Fluency in English –written and verbal.
