Job Description:

Role:

  • Fully responsible for the IT Department in Asia Pacific Region (APR)
  • Manage the entire business applications and infrastructure for APR
  • Provide IS leadership and coordination to APR
  • Execute and support GROUP IT strategy

Responsibilities:

  • Full responsibility for IS strategy, action plans, budget planning and its management aligned with business goals and global BT strategy
  • Lead and manage all aspects of IS projects
  • Select, establish and maintain strategic relationships with outsource vendors
  • Maximize and continue to improve the service quality through customer feedbacks
  • Maintain constant awareness of the latest technologies and trends as inputs to the business strategy
  • Report to Senior Management regularly, participate in various Steering Committees, and advance necessary proposals with regard to IS strategy
  • Set and implement IT governance guidelines to ensure IS and business optimization for all functional areas
  • Create organization plans and build a strong team
  • Identify emerging information technologies and recommend optimization in both systems architecture and configuration in alignment with business directions
  • Perform normal general management functions including budgeting and expense management, objective-setting and alignment, performance appraisal, staff development, etc.
  • Implement and execute GROUP BT strategy
  • Work closely with the the Risk & Compliance to ensure that appropriate security guidance is implemented.

  • Proven leadership, project management, people management, vendor management, problem-solving and decision-making skills

 

  • High energy level, proactive and result-driven people driver

 

  • With strong charisma as a regional leader to motivate, coach and lead a team of IT, Risk and Organization managers

 

  • Well understand cyber securtiy policy and regulation on insurance area
