Job Description:
Qualification Required: B.E.( Mech/Prod/ Electrical) with MBA/Material Management
Minimum Experience Required: 8 to 15 Years
Expected System Knowledge: Purchase process in engineering co, SAP/ERP, Ms Office
Job Description (Along with Specific technical knowledge requirement):
Excellent knowledge of manufacturing process of plastic injection moulding, sheet metal, fabrication, electrical sub assembly, machining, casting etc.
Sound knowledge of material planning, purchase process with handsom experience.
Sound knowledge of Inventory control, ABC analysis, material management.
Sound knowledge of supplier selection evaluation, supplier performance evaluation.
Vendor relationship management to improve vendor quality of supplier, resolve vendor related issues.
Parts casting/pricing knowledge with excellent negotiation skills.
Must be able to take strategic decisions to smoother supplies and quality.
Good knowledge of vendor APQP / PPAP process and execution of same.
Must have leadership quality to lead team of purchase executives.
Must have good knowledge of cost management / cost saving ideas.
Must be aware of IATF 16949 QMS followed in automobile.
Special requirement:
Experience in automobile / auto ancillary is preferred.
Good analytical problem solving attitude / behavior
Excellent interpersonal skills.
