Purchase Executive

Job Description:

Purpose of this role is to initiate centralization of purchase operations for better control and increase buyer power through single point of contact. Moreover, this position will formalize the purchase process through dedicated resource and system.

JOB ROLE

• Plan and schedule all purchasing activities
• Track and report key functional metrics of day-to-day activities
• Draft negotiation strategies to close deals on optimal terms
• Assess, manage and mitigate risks in supply chain
• Explore and establish business relations with reliable vendors
• Assess and evaluate vendors, if required
• Determine, manage and coordinate timing of deliveries
• Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management
• Ability to gather and analyse data and to work with figures
• Solid judgement along with decision making skills

QUALIFICATION

• Mini Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Business Management or relevant Engineering Discipline
• Minimum 3/4 years of experience in Procurement or Purchase in Chemical or Mining industry
• MS Office skills along with experience in general documentation and ledger functions
• Ability to communicate, present and influence effectively
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
