Job Description:

Mandate 1 To maintain and to develop all safety, health and environmental aspects for the company according to the company's standards, Indian laws and regulations. Use his knowledge and skills to promote a positive health and safety culture in the workplace.
Mandate 2 Responsible for ensuring that employers and workers comply with safety legislation and that safety policies and practices are adopted and adhered to.
Mandate 3 Good with MS Office and excellent communication skills in English language.

Qualification

? Candidate must be Diploma/ Graduate in Environment Health & Safety with Hazardous Management.
? Minimum 8 Years for Diploma in EHS + Graduate in any stream & 5 Years for Graduate in EHS Background.

Relevant Experience

Outlining safe operational procedures which identify and take account of all relevant hazards.
- Carrying out risk assessments and considering how risks could be reduced.
- Carrying out regular site inspections to check policies and procedures are being properly implemented;
- Making changes to working practices that are safe and comply with legislation.
- Reviewing EHS policies from time to time and ensuring the policy is being implemented in all operations of the company.
- Developing a No Excuse attitude towards Safety practices and inculcating Safety as a Culture in the organization.
- Leading in-house training with managers and employees about health and safety issues and risks.
- Keeping records of inspection findings and producing reports that suggest improvements.
- Recording of incidents, accidents and Near Misses & producing statistics for management.
- Being abreast with changes in laws, regulations, etc. related to EHS and maintaining a working knowledge of all Health and Safety Executive (HSE) legislation and any developments that affect the employer's industry;
- Attending Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) seminars and reading professional journals.
- Responsible for EHS documentary management.
- Monitor EHS facilities maintenance and inspection.
- Execution of EHS training program.
- Issue daily work permits.
- In charge of PPE management.
- Daily terminal safety supervision and inspection.
- To obtain EHS related governmental permits.
- ISO documentation, all other important safety accreditations related to EHS.
- Staff/Employees/Visitors Induction and training.
- Other jobs to be delivered by superiors.

- Ensuring the safe installation of equipment.
