IOT Sales Manager
Job Description:
- Identify business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry by researching and analyzing sales options.
- Build business by identifying and selling to prospects.
- Sell solutions by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects and recommending solutions.
- Maintain relationship with clients by providing support, information, and guidance.
- Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing the organization standards.
- Researching and recommending new opportunities and recommending profit and service improvements.
- Identify product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
- Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Establish strong customer rapport
- Help customers and prospects understand our products and services. Identify customers’ needs for our products/services.
- Prepare market information and analyses, conduct contract negotiations, handle orders and prepare offers.
- Work with tech team and partners to identify appropriate solutions
- Increase market penetration and awareness among customers
- Identify new prospects & forecast sales
- Prospect for new business with minimal direction
- Have the vision to see the solution to the business needs of customers
- Profitably and consistently exceed revenue targets and quotas
- Develop strong, trusted relationships with key customers and partners through relationship building, technical competence, strong listening skills, and a genuine passion to guide their success
- Providing accurate sales forecasts that will be a key factor in overall company planning
- Work closely with internal and external partners to drive new business opportunities
- Ensure a long-term competitive edge for the territory through a value-added approach to prospects and customers
- Rolls up your sleeves when appropriate, and be an active participant in new sales strategies and marketplace analysis
- Develop an individual strategy for customer acquisition and develop a customer base in a predefined market segment.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to contract signature with the clear goal of exceeding the set sales quota.
- Do successful market expansion with the Industries product. Help revenue growth from enterprise sales.
Identify and develop different opportunities.
- Do farming / Customer development in cooperation with the consulting team as well as the development of a customized cross- and up selling strategy.
What we are looking for:
- Must have at least 5 years’ sales experience within Building Automation/Smart Building, Smart Manufacturing, or Smart Cities, working within a large, results-oriented business environment.
- Possess a demonstrated track record of achieving high level of sales within competitive business environments.
Strong “hunter” mentality.
Strong analytical mindset with experience in channel management and strong aptitude for growth.
Broad business experience with an emphasis on technical, product-based environments.
Intelligent, energetic, articulate, and confident with strong motivational capabilities.
- Understanding and appreciation for business value propositions of technical solutions.
- Strong Team player.
- Proactive individual with an appetite for success.
- Ability to travel.
