Email Marketing Specialist

Job Responsibilities
- Email Development:
- Creating emails using basic HTML/CSS
- Making code changes to existing emails
- Planning and developing key email touchpoints along the customer journey
- Extensive testing of emails
- Troubleshooting code/data issues
- Email Analytics:
- Reporting and analyzing email analytics using Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Adobe Analytics
- Creating and maintaining dashboards using Excel and PowerPoint
Required Skills and Experience
- Recent graduate from an accredited college or university with a degree in marketing, business, or computer science
- 1-3 years of prior marketing experience in related field
- 1-3 years of experience with HTML and CSS for email (AMPScript a plus)
- Fundamental understanding of email best practices
- Familiarity with responsive design for email
- Familiarity with CAN-SPAM, CASL and GDPR compliance regulations
- Basic understanding of database concepts and segmentation
- Experience in Adobe Analytics and/or Google Analytics a plus
- Strong research, analytical and reporting skills
- Strong work ethic with an eye for detail
- Ability and desire to learn quickly
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Experience with MS Office Suite (primarily Excel & PowerPoint)
- Basic knowledge of SQL is a plus
