Department Commercial (Purchase, Contract Cell, Store)
Grade (Position) VP / EVP
Desired Qualification + Experience BE - Mechanical/ Electrical/ Metallurgy (MBA preferred)
Head Commercial role requires a professional domain experience of ~20-25 years in handling techno-commercial aspects of steel industry
Sound Commercial Knowledge & professional experience of various materials required for running a steel plant, procurement & storage of materials and contract management
Industry Type Exposure Manufacturing / Iron / Steel preferred
Role involves current & up-to-date knowledge of National steel industry trends, supply-chain synergies and the ability to drive negotiations
Roles & Responsibilities / Duties to be Performed as Head Commercial :
Procurement & Contracts
Implement policies and guidelines for procurement of items required by the plant.
Prepare and finalize material requirement of the Plant and continuously procure materials from vendors to ensure timely availability of material in the plant
Provide inputs to annual business planning through guidance on manpower, maintenance & consumables-related availability from empaneled vendors
