Job description

  • Receiving /collecting orders from customer and coordinate loading operations at the loading site. Planning, scheduling & executing of orders as per DO and to honor the contract terms with the customer
  • Daily interaction with Transport operation team and coordinate smooth order processing
  • Tracking/Planning & executing the Delivery Orders and Communicate with concern person/authority at loading location for smooth operations at loading site
  • Training & Development: - Give training to subordinate staff/Drivers on regular basis with coordination of EHS & HR Dept. about Environment, health safety including road safety, also will be responsible for evaluation of the training skills.
  • Customer complaints management
  • Responsible for preparing ISO & RTO documentation for smooth processing on day to day basis
  • Responsible for implementation & improvement in Transport servicing with highest safety standards and paneling processes to ensure easy processing
  • Supervising on Preventive- Maintenance of vehicles. Also coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure that the vehicles are taken on time for all the preventive maintenance,
  • Responsible for preparing budget & forecasting expenses for new route and lanes. Also approving the trip expenses and trip budget for smooth operations on road. This also includes that the accounting of all the trip expenses are as per the budget given and are review time to time.
  • Responsible for Liasioning with RTO and local authority for all the statutory compliance smooth functioning. Developing transportation relationships.
  • Responsible for continuous follow up with Insurance company & Motor insurance companies for ensuring policy decisions on vehicle and driver insurance.
  • Job training to supervisors and assisting them in daily operations for any support related to loading/unloading
  • Supervise and audit internal operation system time to time to ensure that the processes are followed time to time and if there are any chances of improvement.
  • Responsible to negotiate if vehicles required from market and subcontracted for any additional loads.
  • Ensure 100% utilization of the fleet with proper maintenance and safety of the processes.
  • Should bridge gap between operations and marketing for customer satisfaction
  • Ensure that all the statutory documents as per RTO and Motor vehicles act in addition to any specific requirement of the customer are maintained time to time and updated in the system and the vehicle for records
