Job Description:

Candidate Profile

·         Proven background on corporate law (contract law, bankruptcy, intellectual property rights, licensing, )

·         Litigation management experience

·         Excellent communications skills

·         Analytical ability and strong attention to detail

·         Computer skills

·         Law graduate from a recognized Law College

·         Post graduate from a recognized university.

·         Minimum 5 years of experience.

Critical Experience Requirement

·         Drafting and Vetting of Business Agreements

·         Drafting and Vetting of Litigation related documents

·         Litigation Management

Job Description / Responsibilities

·          

·         Draft, review, and vet administer all contracts related to the Transportation industry and Finance industry and manage the contractual risks.

·         Drafting and vetting of various documents such as POAs, bank guarantees, notices, no-objection certificates, indemnity bonds, declarations, guidelines for home loan and loan against property, etc.

·         Negotiate deals with internal and external stakeholders and attend company meetings.

·         Consult and handle all corporate legal processes (e.g. Intellectual property, mergers & acquisitions, transactions, agreements, lawsuits, patents).

·         Research, anticipate and guard company against legal risks.

·         Guide managers and ensure compliance with rules and regulations and keep abreast with the latest legal updates, especially those affecting the business and industry.

·         Represent company and brief counsels/advocates in legal proceedings (administrative boards, court trials, etc.)

·         Attend to litigation matters, which would include initiation of legal proceedings before various court and tribunals and review the progress of outstanding litigation and liaise and coordinate with external lawyers and law firms.

·         Develop and draft company policy and position on legal issues.

·         At all levels, follows instructions and procedures, adhere to schedules and demonstrate a commitment to the organization.
