Quality Manager
Job Description:
- Works with purchasing staff to establish quality requirements for external suppliers and establish internal QA system in Plant
- Validates quality processes by establishing product specifications and quality attributes; measuring production; documenting evidence; determining operational and performance qualification; writing and updating quality assurance procedures.
- Conduct risk assessments of processes and tasks in the department
- Manage and control all quality control activities in accordance with identified Quality Assurance standards, company procedures, customer specifications requirements.
- Respond to customer complaints putting in containment actions, full analysis, and error proofing, and implementing short-term and long-term counter measures.
- Communicate with personnel at all levels, internally and externally to the Company, in relation to Quality matters
- Develops and implements the Quality led activities specified within company process to assure quality from concept to production.
- Implements measures to improve inspection methods, equipment / tool performance, product quality, efficiency and morale.
- Responsible for maintaining and ensuring adherence of QMS and its objectives.
- Directs and coordinates the activities of team engaged in quality functions including inspection, analysis and training.
- Set department objectives / KPIs and review and assess ongoing performance of direct reports
- Train others in all aspects of the quality system and application of procedures
- QC/QA End to End Activities,
- To handle quality department independently,
- Handle of customer complaints,
- Overall Quality Management,
- Calibration,
- Final Inspection before Dispatch,
- Identify & Analyse product Status in production all the Stages,
- Knowledge of BRC, HACCP, ISO,
- Audit Exposure,
Personal Attributes
Should be fluent in English.
Good communication skill / team management skill
Lean Manufacturing skills
Proficient computer skills, MS Windows, Microsoft Office
Experience of dealing with customers and suppliers
Leadership.
