Asst. Manager / Manager - Transmission Design Head

Job Description:

-Position Title: Assistant manager

-Qualification: Mandatory – B.E.(Auto/Mech), Preferred – M.Tech (Design)

-Experience: Number of Years – 4 to 7yrs
-Function – Automotive (Clutch or Transmission)

-Age group- 25 to 28 yrs

-Gender: M or F

-Technical/Functional Knowledge and Skills required: 
1) Domain knowledge of Transmission design and Clutches with NVH behaviors.
2) Proficient in use of 3D and 2D Design software.
3) Able to do the basic design calculations.
4) Involved in intellectual aspects having a clear holistic picture of automotive transmission design.
5) Knowledge of automatic transmission, CVT’s.
6) Good knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, GD&T, APQP, FEA.
7) Knowledge of MBD is preferred.

-Key Deliverables / Accountabilities of the Position:
Customer interaction, generating innovative ideas, inters department interaction, making design concept, able to make drawings with stack up analysis.

-Computer/ System knowledge & skills required: Must: Autocad, UG-NX, PLM & MS Office
-Preffered any one of: Nastran, Ansys, Hyperworks, Matlab,
