Job Description:

As a Quality Assurance Lead, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our email collaboration platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in QA methodologies, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional user experiences.

Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: Proven experience around min 6 yrs to 9 yrs plus in software quality assurance, with a focus on web-based applications and platforms.
Work location: Andheri east in Mumbai
Region Handling – Prague

Key Responsibilities:
1. Leadership and Team Management:
• Providing guidance, support, and coaching to the team and ensure high performance and continuous growth.
• Foster a culture of quality and accountability within the team, encouraging collaboration and innovation.
2. Quality Assurance Strategy:
• Develop and implement comprehensive QA strategies and processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to define quality standards, metrics, and goals.
3. Test Planning and Execution:
• Plan, prioritize, and execute testing activities across various stages of the software development lifecycle, including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
4. Defect Management:
• Manage the end-to-end defect lifecycle, including identification, logging, tracking, prioritization, and resolution.
• Work closely with development teams to investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in a timely manner.
5. Continuous Improvement:
• Continuously evaluate and enhance QA processes, tools, and methodologies to optimize efficiency, effectiveness, and quality.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring issues.
6. Documentation and Reporting:
• Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
• Generate and present quality metrics and reports to stakeholders, highlighting key insights and areas for improvement.

Personal skills:
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
• In-depth knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with email collaboration platforms or related technologies.
• Certifications in software quality assurance (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) or related fields.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
