Job Description:

Our client is seeking a passionate and experienced HR Manager to join our growing team. You will play a key role in attracting and retaining top talent within the pharmaceutical industry, fostering a positive work environment that promotes compliance and innovation, and supporting our continued growth.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive talent acquisition strategies specific to the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Partner with hiring managers across various departments (e.g., R&D, Manufacturing, Quality Control) to understand their specific needs and talent requirements (e.g., scientific expertise, regulatory compliance).
  • Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to identify and attract highly qualified candidates in the pharmaceutical field (e.g., scientists, researchers, quality control professionals).
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including job posting, candidate screening, interviewing, and offer negotiation.
  • Champion a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in pharmaceutical recruitment, including leveraging online platforms and professional networks.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with universities, professional organizations, and recruitment agencies within the pharmaceutical sector.
  • Develop and implement onboarding programs to ensure new hires are successfully integrated into our company culture.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of broader HR initiatives, such as performance management and employee relations (as needed).

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 6 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years focused on talent acquisition within the pharmaceutical industry (or a closely related field).
  • Proven track record of success in attracting and recruiting top talent in the pharmaceutical field.
  • Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry landscape, including key roles, talent pools, and industry trends.
  • Experience working with scientific and technical professionals is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with hiring managers, universities, and recruitment agencies.
  • Proficient in recruitment software and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
  • A data-driven and analytical approach to recruitment.
  • A proactive, results-oriented, and self-motivated individual with a passion for building high-performing teams.
