About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Technical Delivery Manager to lead the delivery of a critical software application project. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the project lifecycle, from planning and execution to launch and support. You will be a key member of the cross-functional team, working closely with developers, testers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the entire software delivery lifecycle, including requirements gathering, planning, estimation, scheduling, execution, risk management, and quality assurance.
- Partner with stakeholders to understand and translate business needs into clear technical requirements.
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets, and track progress against these measures.
- Lead and motivate a cross-functional team of developers, testers, and other technical resources.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration within the team and with stakeholders.
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure high-quality deliverables through effective testing and quality assurance processes.
- Manage project budget and resources effectively.
- Track and report on project performance metrics.
- Identify and document lessons learned for future projects.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest software development methodologies and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Technical Delivery Manager or similar role.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Development Area (e.g Web - angular, react, Python or Mobile app related )
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex software projects on time and within budget.
- Strong understanding of Agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
