DESIGN ENGINEER - SOLAR PV PLANT Pune

Job Description:

Responsibilities & Duties:
 DC & AC side designing which includes stringing calculations, design & selection, calculating the rating of the
switchgear and protection required in the system, cable sizing, Earthing calculations, LA calculations, design
optimization, Shadow Analysis of the solar project, etc.
 Coordination in developing electrical schemes and PV plant layout detailing such as DC Cable routine layouts, DC
Grouping. Conducting lightning risk assessment, performing lighting calculations, cable sizing, conductor
selection, auxiliary load calculation as per the national/ international code.
 Basic engineering and conceptualisation of all the aspects of inverter stations, MV transformer stations, MV
 Switching stations, Utility metering systems etc.

 Prepare all the design drawings, perform calculations, and deliver to the Project Execution team. Prepare all BoM
and RFQ with technical details.
 Manage engineering design of different projects, recognize the requirements from Project Execution team and
interact with them daily regarding the design, engineering concept optimization of the projects in hand.
 Regular coordination with Project Execution team, Procurement team & Business Development Team.
 Preparing and maintaining internal data, documentations, trackers, etc, database of costs and technical
specifications for primary and secondary equipment used in RE projects.
