Operations Manager for Pharma industry in Kolkata

Job Description:

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Manager to join our team at our Kolkata head office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing inventory stocks, logistics, retail store management, and overall operations of the firm. Additionally, the Operations Manager will play a pivotal role in marketing and brand promotion activities. The successful candidate must possess strong data management and Management Information Systems (MIS) skills. Prior experience in the FMCG or Pharma industry within an operations capacity is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and optimize inventory stocks across all retail pharmacy stores.
• Oversee logistics operations to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products.
• Conduct regular visits to retail stores to monitor operations and provide support as needed.
• Develop and implement strategies for marketing and brand promotion to increase customer engagement and loyalty.
• Utilize data management and MIS skills to analyze operational performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and enhance overall efficiency.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 3-4 years+ of experience in a similar operations role, preferably in the FMCG or Pharma industry.
• Strong proficiency in data management and MIS tools/software.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven track record of leadership and team management.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
