Position:         Mould Engineer

Location:        Daman

Experience:     3 – 5 Years

Responsibilities:

• Design cavities, plugs, inserts for Tools and Moulds.
• Ability to design moulds that meet tight tolerances and specifications, understanding the importance of precision in ensuring the quality of the final thermoformed products.
• Meticulous attention to the details of mould design, manufacturing, and maintenance to ensure high-quality output and longevity of the moulds.
• Ability to innovate and adapt to new technologies and methods in mould making and thermoforming to improve efficiency and product quality.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues related to mould design, manufacture, and testing, implementing solutions that minimize downtime and ensure the quality of products.
• Capability to manage projects from conception through to completion, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating with every concerned (such as production, quality assurance, supply chain, vendors and suppliers engaged for mould making and machining).
• Effective communication with team members, suppliers, and customers to ensure that mould designs meet specifications and are delivered on time.
• Technical Experience - Must have worked on Solid Works Software.
• Expertise in using CAD software like SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Siemens NX for mould design and CAM software for programming CNC machines
• Understanding of thermoforming techniques, materials (such as PET, PVC, PP, etc), and the properties that affect the thermoforming process and final product quality.
• Knowledge of different materials used in mould making (e.g., aluminium, steel, alloy steel, etc) and techniques (e.g., machining, fabrication) is essential.
• Experience with Mould Manufacturing companies is desirable.
• Strong problem solving abilities.
