Job Description:
- understand and complete product requirements and design injection Mould completely
- to generate various DFM changes to optimize mechanical designs
- be a team player with entire process to accomplish projects within the required lead time
- Design production Mould & tools for customized Engineering Parts
- Hot runner concept injection mould tools for plastic mould
- Manufacturing module for Design with plastic shrinkage
- Hands On Software : Auto Cad, Cero, UG, ETC
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of the entire mold design process.
- 3+ years of demonstrable design of plastic injection Mould.
Preferred experience:
- Solid modeling is preferred but will train a motivated surface designer.
- Former/current Tool room, mould maker, or CNC programmer experience is a plus but not required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mold designer will train and learn under senior designer for comprehensive understanding of our entire mould design process.
- Fully design the mold for manufacturing.
- Manage design related issues throughout the build process.
- Mold designer will identify any customer part issues that may cause molding issues and relay them to sales and/or customer service team with a proposed solution.
- Mold designer will prepare prints for all components with proper dimensions needed and distribute them to the appropriate department for manufacturing.
