Position:          Sr. Manager – Purchase (PM)

Location:          Vapi.

Experience:      10-12 Years

Industries:        Plastic

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement procurement strategies for packaging materials.
• Evaluate and select packaging material suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability.
• Negotiate contracts and terms with packaging suppliers to secure favorable agreements.
• Maintain strong relationships with key packaging material suppliers to ensure a stable supply chain.
• Implement cost-effective procurement practices and conduct regular cost analyses.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and integrate packaging needs into procurement strategy.
• Collaborate with quality assurance to establish and maintain high-quality standards for packaging materials.
• Monitor and manage packaging material inventory levels efficiently.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks in the packaging material supply chain.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies in packaging procurement.
• Lead and mentor a team of procurement professionals focused on packaging materials.
• Foster a collaborative and performance-driven culture within the packaging procurement team.

Required Skills

• Proven experience in procurement and supply chain management, with a focus on raw materials.
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain effective supplier relationships.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of relevant industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory requirements.
• Leadership experience with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
