Role Summary: The Sales Engineer will be responsible for: a) Providing technical support to clients, communicating with clients to understand their needs, and providing solutions that meet those needs. b) Generating sales leads, closing deals, and providing excellent customer service. c) Technical qualification, interpreting technical design inputs from technology centres, cost estimation of food/chemical packages/projects in drying, granulation, coating processes based on Fluidized Bed technology; preparation of techno-commercial offers for enquiries.

 

a. Drive sales of Glatt’s Technology for Food and Chemical Industries. b. Develop and nurture client relationships, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions. c. Collaborate with technical teams to evaluate the customer requirements and offer appropriate solutionsd. Execute marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility and market presence. e. Stay abreast of industry trends, maintaining a deep understanding of our product portfolio. f. Evaluation of Tender/ enquiry from customer & understanding the technical requirements & preparation for the pre-bid points / clarifications g. Preparation of the Technical offer & deviations, KPIs h. Preparing BOM & project costing in alignment with the technical offer & working out optimum cost. i. Selection and sourcing of various process equipment based on customization / Vendor Management. j. Participation in customer meetings 

 

Qualifications Required: • B Tech / M Tech Chemical Engineering / Food Engineering / Process Engineering. • 5 - 8 years in Process Industry, preparation of techno-commercial offer, cost estimation & sales activities. Skill Sets Required: • Sales Engineering and Technical Support skills • Excellent Communication and Sales skills • Customer Service skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Strong problem-solving skills • Willingness to travel to job sites during execution of the project. • Good communication skills in English.Software: • Knowledge of Engineering Guidelines, MS Office and other basic tools required.
