Job Description:

A Grinder Operator is responsible for setting up and operating grinding machines to shape, sharpen and polish metal parts. They must be able to interpret technical drawings, set up the grinding machines and adjust the cutting tools to achieve desired results.
A Grinder Operator is responsible for operating grinding machines to shape, sharpen, or smooth objects such as stone, precision parts, or tools. They set up, operate and maintain these machines while ensuring they are safe to use and in compliance with established safety standards. Grinder Operators use technical drawings and blueprints to determine the specifications of the workpiece and select the appropriate tools needed for the job. They also inspect the finished product for quality and ensure that it meets the required industry standards. Additionally, Grinder Operators perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure they are operating at optimal levels.
