Reports to                      :         Business lead – Vegetables & Bio-Stimulant

Internal Relationship      :         Marketing Dept, R &D, Production, Quality, Processing & Business Operation Dept

External relationship       :         Agriculture Dept, GEAC& Agriculture Universities

Role Purpose                   :         To evaluate & develop the product as per the need of market and take them to commercialization.

Age                                 :     35-40 Yrs

Qualification                   : MSc (Agri) from one of the best SAU (State Agricultural University)

Preferred Companies       : Nunhems, Seed Works, Indo-American, Bio seeds, Ankur, Mahyco, etc

Primary Responsibility

  • Existing Product & New Product :
  1. fix crop wise product goal
  2. Decide product placement
  3. Product wise growth plan
  4. Develop new product portfolio
  5. Suggest product agronomy
  • Making of product Protocol : Product promotion Material & Strategies
  • New area development for established / new product.
  • Product evaluation by way of :

         1. Deciding proper location and agronomy for each trail.

         2. Perfect plant protection

         3. Keep location wise check

         4. Periodical visit and final conclusion of individual MLT/LST and its consolidation for management decision

         5. MLTs provide the first stage of product identification, through a combined assessment of R&D, Marketing, and the Product Development Team.              The subsequent conduct of LSTs and Demonstrations etc shall remain the joint responsibility of Product Development and Marketing.

         6. Keeping all India Nath Marketing data along with keeping updated competitor’s data, it should necessarily be of last three years at any given                point of time.

  • The parting of training to ground level marketing staff/ Nath Farm Advisor/Crop Development Officer/Marketing Officer/Marketing Executive/ Territory Sales Managers about marketing skills/Agronomy of each crop, conducting Farmer meetings etc.
  • State level seed license record and to ensure timely renewal and product inclusion.
  • Coordination with universities/GEAC/coordinate trial projects for conducting the trial as per the need of each and every state, its monitoring and positive outcome (which will include liasoining.)
