Position:      Asst. Manager - Procurement

Location:      Vapi

Experience:    5 - 10 Years

Industries:     Plastic

Responsibilities:

• Would have worked in Heavy Engineering industries – Large companies in the Procurement function
• Purchase Experience : Factory machining items like Pneumatics, Hardware’s, Machining parts. Machines, Molds, Consumables , Factory services
• Should be strong in Negotiation.
• Should have experience of Vendor selections, New Vendor on boarding. Vendor Selection criteria, Vendor Evaluation, Updates on costing of products
• Minimum 5 years Procurement experience (Hard core negotiations – Not just making orders)
• Complexity of work : Should have handled complex assignments.  In terms of SKU’s should have handled around 4000 – 5000 ski’s
• In terms of orders – Daily he should be doing 50 -60 orders where each order involves getting quotes and negotiations. Familiar with Industrial drawings etc

• Stakeholder Engagement
• English – Should be good.
• Change management.
• Computer Skills – Familiar with ERP system ( SAP, JDE etc. )
• PowerPoint, Advanced Excel

• Cost reduction in all areas . Bring substantial savings.
• Making orders within 3 days and taking total ownership from PO to delivery for the orders
• New Supplier onboardings

Required Qualification: - Any Engineering

Salary :- Upto 10.00 LPA
