Job Title: Retail Trainer

Job Summary: As a Retail Trainer, your primary responsibility is to develop and implement training programs for retail staff to enhance their product knowledge, customer service skills, and overall performance. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that retail associates are well-equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional customer experiences and drive sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Training Program Development:

    • Design, develop, and implement comprehensive training programs for retail staff, covering product knowledge, Behavioural trainings,  sales techniques, customer service, and company policies and procedures.
    • Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure training materials are up-to-date and aligned with the company's goals and values.
  2. Training Delivery:

    • Conduct engaging and effective training sessions for new hires and existing employees, utilizing a variety of training methods such as workshops, role-playing, and multimedia presentations.
    • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments and feedback, making necessary adjustments for continuous improvement.
  3. Onboarding:

    • Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring they are well-versed in company culture, policies, and procedures, as well as product knowledge.
  4. Performance Monitoring:

    • Implement performance monitoring systems to track the progress and success of retail staff, providing constructive feedback and additional training as needed.
  5. Collaboration:

    • Work closely with store managers and regional management to understand specific training needs and tailor programs accordingly.
    • Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and marketing, to ensure a cohesive approach to staff training.
  6. Stay Informed:

    • Stay abreast of industry trends, product updates, and changes in customer behavior to continuously adapt and enhance training programs.
  7. Knowledge: TNI, TNA, Contant Making,

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Education, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Retail Trainer or in a similar training role within the retail industry.
  • Strong knowledge of retail operations, customer service, and sales techniques.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to create engaging and interactive training materials.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficient in using training software and multimedia tools.
