Job Title: ERP Head

Department: Information Technology (IT)

 

Location: Surat

Position Type: Full-Time

Reports To: Chief Operating Officer (COO)

 

Job Summary:

The ERP Head is responsible for the strategic planning, implementation, management, and optimization of the organization's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. This role involves overseeing all aspects of the ERP system to ensure it aligns with the organization's goals and facilitates efficient and effective business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ERP Strategy: Develop and execute the ERP strategy in alignment with the organization's business objectives.
  • Selection and Implementation: Lead the selection of ERP software, manage the implementation process, and coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Customization: Customize the ERP system to meet the specific needs of the organization, including configuring software, creating custom modules, and integrating with other systems.
  • Data Management: Ensure data accuracy, security, and integrity within the ERP system. Oversee data migration, data governance, and data quality management.
  • Training and User Support: Provide training and support to employees and end-users to maximize their proficiency with the ERP system.
  • Monitoring and Optimization: Continuously monitor ERP system performance, identify areas for improvement, and optimize processes for enhanced efficiency and productivity.
  • Compliance: Ensure that the ERP system and related processes adhere to industry regulations, standards, and internal policies.
  • Cost Control: Manage the ERP-related budget and seek cost-effective solutions while maintaining high-quality service.
  • Integration: Collaborate with other IT and business leaders to ensure seamless integration of the ERP system with other systems and technologies.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Leverage ERP data for reporting, analysis, and decision-making to enhance overall business performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in managing ERP systems, with a minimum of 10 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of ERP software, modules, and best practices.
  • Excellent project management skills, including experience with ERP implementations.
  • Proficiency in data management, data migration, and data quality assurance.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • IT certifications related to ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) are a plus.
