Job Description for Clinical Operations Manager

Department : Administration.

Reporting to: Administrator / Medical Director / HRM

Work Experience: 5 to 10 year’s experience.

Other Skills & Competencies: Excellent communication skill and interpersonal skills.

Verbal and written English.

Microsoft Office & Window based PC applications.

Educational Qualification:     Master Degree in Hospital Administration with B.A.M.S./ B.H.M.S.form recognized university or college.

Roles &Responsibilities:

  • Handled the tasks of continuous analysis of the services, facilities, equipment and employees to maintain the smooth running of the organization.
  • Responsible for continuous assessment and evaluation of the requirements of the organization.
  • Responsible for overall monitoring of healthcarestaff/workers (including RMO’s) and administrative staff.
  • Supervising and coordinating all patient-care related activities including admission /discharge procedures.
  • Handled the tasks of generating policies and procedures of health care and employees.
  • Reviewed, updated and modified procedures (SOP’s) on a regular basis as per the requirements of the organization.
  • Monitored and oversaw continued and satisfactory implementations of SOP’s.
  • Scheduled and conducted interviewsfor hiring health care workers and administrative staff.
  • Co-ordinated and conducting staff training and recruitment.
  • Responsible for periodic appraisal of the performance of staff and maintaining adequate discipline among employees.
  • Regulated inter- departmental co-ordination and ensured a hassle free work environment.
  • Resolved patient’s and staff’s grievanceson day to day basis.
  • Undertook liasoining with various agenciesand service providers as and when required.
  • Ensured variouscompliances necessary as per state rules/ regulations for nursing homes / hospitals.
  • Monitor meetings, take minutes, perform dictations and create meeting reports.
  • Make copies of correspondence, mail letters and file within internal records system.
