Job Description:
Job Responsibilities
- Represent the interests of organisations in legal proceedings.
- Interpret laws, rulings and regulations for individuals and businesses.
- Study Constitution, statutes, decisions, regulations, and ordinances of quasi-judicial bodies to determine ramifications for cases.
- Research relevant legal materials to aid decision making.
- Identify implications for cases from legal precedents or other legal information.
- Prepare legal briefs and opinions, and file appeals in various courts of appeal.
- Analyze the probable outcomes of cases, using knowledge of legal precedents.
- Evaluate findings and develop strategies and arguments in preparation for presentation of cases.
- Prepare and draft legal documents, such as agreement, MOU, deeds, patent applications, mortgages, leases and contracts.
- Conform to administrative and management functions related to practice of law. Search for and examine public and other legal records to write opinions or establish ownerships. Evaluate information related to legal matters in public or personal records.
- Confer with colleagues / solicitors appointed by organisation with specialties in appropriate areas of legal issue to establish and verify bases for legal proceedings.
Qualification required: 5 year or 3 year full time LLB
Experience Required: 2 years and above. Should be well versed with laws related to real estate industry, consumer protection
