AGM (Architect ) for a Real Estate company - Kolkata location

Job Summary: We are seeking a talented and experienced Architect to join our dynamic team at a renowned Real Estate Company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in architectural design, project management, and a deep understanding of real estate development processes. As an Architect, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our real estate projects, ensuring that they are not only aesthetically pleasing but also functional, sustainable, and compliant with all relevant regulations.

Responsibilities:

1. Architectural Design: Lead the conceptualization, design, and development of architectural plans for various real estate projects, including residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments.

2. Project Management: Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from initial design through construction and completion. Ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.

3. Code Compliance: Stay current with local building codes, zoning regulations, and other relevant laws to ensure all designs and projects are in compliance.

4. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, interior designers, contractors, and other stakeholders, to ensure the successful execution of projects.

5. Site Analysis: Conduct site evaluations and analysis to determine project feasibility and site-specific design considerations.

6. Client Interaction: Work closely with clients to understand their vision and requirements, and provide design solutions that meet their needs and expectations.

7. Budget Management: Assist in developing project budgets and monitor expenses throughout the project to ensure adherence to financial constraints.

8. Sustainability: Promote sustainable design practices and integrate environmentally friendly features into architectural designs where applicable.

9. Documentation: Prepare detailed architectural drawings, specifications, and other documentation necessary for permitting, construction, and project management.

10. Quality Control: Implement and oversee quality control measures to ensure the highest standards of construction and design quality.

11. Trends and Innovation: Stay informed about the latest trends, materials, and technologies in architecture and real estate development to continuously improve design processes.

12. Risk Assessment: Identify and address potential design and construction-related risks and propose mitigation strategies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
• State licensure as a Registered Architect is required.
• Min 10 years of relevant experience in architectural design and project management in any developer / real estate company.
• Proficiency in architectural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp).
• Strong knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, and construction processes.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with sustainable and green building practices is a plus.
