Job Description:

• Positions: Manufacturing Supervisors/ Chemist/ Jr. Officer/ Officer
• Sc/ B. Pharma/ M. Sc/ M. Pharma/ B. Tech (Cosmetics)/ M. Tech (Cosmetics) or with minimum 2-4 years Pharma/ Cosmetics Company experience
• Gender - Male
• Supervise and coordinate manufacturing activities for multiple manufacturing tanks in a Pharma/ Cosmetics Manufacturing unit as per SOP’s
• Allocation, Supervision & Handling manpower (men) for each manufacturing vessel
• Receive & Inspect materials from stores for each product & batch and maintain the segregation for the same in day stores
• Online filling & maintaining of Batch Records for each product and each batch along with the proper reconciliation of batch record & materials
• Reporting immediately any discrepancies in materials received from stores in quantity, quality or wrong materials issued
• Intimations to QA department for clearances as required through the batch manufacturing process & for clearance prior to starting a new batch
• Intimating QC department of semi-finished bulk testing and Transferring completed batch to respective storage vessels under the most hygienic conditions
• Maintaining log books for various equipment
• Maintaining shift log as well as machine logs of downtime of machines
• Discuss with HOD regarding issues arising in Manufacturing department
• Reporting & communication to HOD and with other departments
• Maintaining discipline of workers and subordinates
• Reducing costs of manpower with optimal utilization of manpower on the manufacturing line
• Training manpower for manufacturing lines & equipment along with cleaning processes of equipment
• Maintaining various other systems, procedures &documents as per company requirement and norms
• Understanding of GMP Norms & requirements along with the implementation of the same
• Utilizing common sense and logic to reduce stoppages of manufacturing
• Maintaining strict hygiene and safety measures at all times in manufacturing ensuring no cross-contamination of materials or foreign particles in the batches
• Ensuring proper use of all equipment’s and maintaining the same with validation
