Senior Accountant

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

1. MIS Management: Efficiently manage the Management Information System (MIS) for all 5 plants, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of financial data. Compile and present financial reports to aid in decision-making.

2. Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze balance sheets, profit and loss (P&L) accounts, and other financial statements to provide insights into the company's financial health and performance.

3. Bank Negotiation: Engage in bank negotiations, including managing loans and credit limits. Build and maintain strong relationships with financial institutions to optimize the company's banking relationships.

4. Strategic Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Collaborate with management to provide insights that drive strategic initiatives.

5. Quarterly Reporting: Prepare comprehensive quarterly financial reports for presentation to the senior management team. Highlight key financial indicators and provide recommendations for improvements.

6. Financial Analytics: Utilize advanced analytical tools to interpret financial data, identify anomalies, and provide actionable insights to improve financial performance.

7. Collaborative Leadership: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and management, to ensure alignment of financial strategies with business objectives.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. Master's degree or professional accounting certification (CA, CMA, CPA) is a plus.
• 5-8 years of progressive experience in accounting and financial management.
• Strong expertise in balance sheet analysis, P&L accounts, and financial reporting.
• Excellent proficiency in financial software, MS Excel, and other data analysis tools.
• Proven track record in bank negotiations, loans, and credit limit management.
• Exceptional attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
• Demonstrated leadership qualities and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
