Job Description:

Diploma / BE in Electrical or Mechanical with minimum 7 to 15 yrs experience in designing of Alternators, Motors or Rotating equipments.

ROLE OBJECTIVE: (The main purpose of the role)

- Translating Customer Requirement into Manufacturing Order.
- Design Office Maintenance

2. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: (These are actions that will enable the incumbent to achieve the job’s overall purpose. They are a description of what the incumbent will DO in the job)
Order Processing
- Study the Electrical Specifications and prepare offer.
- Study the electrical specifications, Select design and prepare MO (post offer)

Customized Motor Design
- Generate alternative electrical design based on specifications

Support to various departments
- Prepare product literature / catalogue.
- Train new branch engineers.
- Attend to customer complaints at site and check electrical parameters, analyse the findings and incorporate changes into existing designs, if the same is on account of design failure.
- Analyse and guide the Production Team in taking corrective actions, if any non conformities to design are found and incorporate changes into existing designs, if the same is on account of design failure.

Design Office Maintenance
- Upload the New Electrical Designs in SAP and ensure their implementation.
- Prepare BOM pertaining to electrical components for new designs.
- Prepare RM / WIP codes for electrical components in SAP

Design Improvement
- Based on the feedback of product performance from external (Mktg, After Sales Service) and internal (Prod, QA) sources, develop & create alternative Electrical Rotating Machine Designs for improvement in electrical parameters and validate.
- Transpose the Electrical Design changes in all existing designs.

- Knowledge about Competitors' Product
- Knowledge of different applications of Motors

Salary: Negotiable / Rs 8.0 to 11.0 Lac per annum.
