Job Description:
Job Title - Service Engineer (North)
Purpose of the job:
The Service Engineer – North will be responsible for providing the after sales support, carrying out the Installations, conducting demos & repairs etc. He should be good hands on Engineer and with an aptitude for handling customer complaints. A Learning attitude with a passion for mastering various equipment & travelling are essential traits.
Main tasks:
- Supporting customers in Training and installing various equipment.
- Supporting all the sales Centers’ in India mainly North India.
- Supporting sales for Creating new customers.
- Supporting Sales with conducting demos and customer support.
- Reporting to the Operation Manager on Monthly Basis
- Spending 80% and above of the time out with the customers.
- System/application study, suggesting suitable automation products.
- Generating BOM, offering competitive quote in terms to convert the order.
- Electrical design, panel wiring, field wiring, new project development and execution.
- PLC, HMI programming, AC VFD, servo drive installation, interfacing third party devices with PLC.
- Developing new concept of special purpose machinery, based on requirements.
- Selection of suitable automation products like pneumatic systems, sensors, controllers etc.
- Ensuring timely completion of projects.
- Tracking down time and reducing cost of maintenance activity and process improvement.
- Visiting suppliers and identifying manufacturing industries where automation is feasible.
- Training engineers, technicians for maintenance and troubleshooting the SPM’s.
Required Profile:
- Degree/ Diploma in Mechanical / Electronics Engineering / Instrumentation / Mechatronics Engg
- Self motivated and disciplined personality
- Optimistic, self confident, reliable
- Relevant experience of 3~5 yrs.
- Fluent in English and Hindi
- Willing to travel overseas for Training purposes.
Technnical Proficiency:
- PLC : Schneider– Zelio, Twido, M238, M258, M340, Mitsubishi – FX series, Allen Bradley – Micro logix series, Delta – DVP series, Siemens – S7 200
- HMI :Schneider –XBT-N/R/RT/ STO/ST, Proface, Delta & Mitsubishi.
- VFD : Schneider, ABB, Mitsubishi, AB, Delta
- SCADA :Schneider – VijeoCitect
- NETWORK:Modbus, CAN open, Ethernet, Device net.
