Job Description:

Role:

  • The goal of asset management is to continually using the captured asset data to maximize returns, minimize risk and drive increased business value. By avoiding unnecessary asset purchases and making the best use of current resources, IT asset managers can cut software licensing and support costs, eliminate waste and improve efficiency.

 

Responsibilities:

 

Responsible for the distribution, tracking, and updating of all IT assets within APR.

  • Manage overall IT inventory (Hardware & Software) for all APR countries.
  • Ensure the assets are tagged correctly to the end-users
  • Ensure COFITIL is up to date along with the end-user details for all the assigned IT assets (Software & Hardware)
  • Prepare a weekly/monthly inventory report for the management review.
  • Ensure that the IT Asset Life Cycle is managed appropriately
  • Ensure the procurement & payments are handled on a timely manner
  • Liaise with Group BT to understand the approved models & versions to be procured for the APR countries.
  • Work closely with finance team on the IT Asset procurements & payment
  • Coordinate with HR admins on the asset allocation for APR countries
  • Maintain accurate planning documentation and provide reports as required
  • Handle Any ad-hoc projects or tasks to be assigned by manager.
  • Be a helping hand to your manager in preparing what he/she look for to meet business needs.
