Stock Borrow Lending - PE/SPE/SME - Mumbai

Job Description:

This person would be responsible for:

Team Leader only 

1)       Prior experience of leading or managing Securities Lending functions preferred.

2)       Good understanding and knowledge of Securities Lending activities and middle and back office activities for the client.  Transition experience preferred.

3)       Prior experience of leading or managing other products pertaining to Investment Banking Operations preferred.

4)       Experience of capturing MIS on the back of different Stock Lending functions to capture key KPI’s and SLA’s. Work on Metrics, dashboards and other reporting documents as per requirements.

5)       Performing reconciliations and adhering to reporting requirements of the client.

6)       Performing checks & completing daily activities pertaining to the different client/regional entities.

7)       Understanding breaks/exceptions and providing an analytical reasoning and provide solution to the client offshore and onshore teams.

8)       Meet /Exceed all defined SLA’s of the process (quality, TAT etc.) as agreed with the client.

9)       To liaise closely with the counterparts on the client side to resolve all the queries on a day to day basis.

10)   Generate process improvement ideas for better productivity, accuracy and reducing turnaround time.

11)   Ready to work in different shifts (EMEA or US shifts). Us shifts primarily

We support an American multinational finance company that engages in global investment banking, investment management, securities, and other financial services including asset management, mergers and acquisitions advice, prime brokerage, and securities underwriting services.

We support client on their mid and back office Stock Lending & Borrowing operations. The client is based out of USA & UK. We provide the following indicative list of services for the clients:

• Account Opening
• Contract Compare
• Settlements (Prepays & Samedays)
• Returns & Recalls
• Marks & Collateral
• Billing
• OCC Marks
• Reporting

This person would be responsible for:

• Performing reconciliations and adhering to reporting requirements of the client.
• Performing checks & completing daily activities pertaining to the different client/regional entities.

Education Qualification: B Com / commerce background with minimum 65% marks

Shift Timing:

• Staggered Shifts between 11 am to 4 am IST
• Candidate should be flexible to work beyond normal working hours in case of business requirement

Minimum Experience required:  2 to 3 years of experience
