Job Description: Ad Sales / Ad Space Selling

  • The incumbent will have the responsibility to maximize advertising volume and revenue from the assigned region for the Publication.
  • The role involves developing advertising revenue across a wide portfolio in Ad Space selling in a Print Publication (preference is for B-2-B experience).
  • Have to gain a good knowledge of clients, magazines and relevant industries, geographies and markets.
  • To maintain knowledge of the industry, markets and publications by research and attending relevant events.
  • Generate leads, establish contact and have to give presentation by meeting potential clients to improve business.
  • Finding out who controls the advertising budget in target organisations and contacting them.
  • Explaining the benefits of your medium, using statistics on readership or viewing figures.
  • Persuading clients to buy advertising space and offering a price and negotiating around it.
  • Closing the deal and recording the details


Desired Profile:

  • Person should be minimum Graduate.
  • Should have experience in media sales, preferably from print media.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
  • Excellent Organizational Skills, interpersonal skills and good presentation skills.
  • Should be ambitious and should have proven records of superlative sales performance.
  • Ability to effectively and efficiently lead a team through motivation and directions.
  • Remuneration will be commensurate with the candidates' profile
  • Designation - Would be assigned based on the current designation & experience of the candidate
